My name is Rev. Dr. Wilson Chan. I am a Chinese pastor originally ordained in the Church of Christ in China Hong Kong Council on October 18, 1975. I have ministered to congregations in Hong Kong, the USA and Canada for over 32 years.

I finished my first theological training in Chung Chi College, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and received a Bachelor of Divinity degree in1973. Then I studied in Singapore and obtained a Master of Ministry degree conferred by the Singapore Trinity Theological College in 1982. In 1986 I finished studying in the Protestant Episcopalian Theological Seminary in Virginia and earned a Master in Theological Studies degree. From 1987 until 2001, while serving as the senior minister in the Chinese Congregational Church in San Francisco and then in the Chinese United Churches in Toronto and York, respectively, I entered a doctoral research program specializing in small group ministry, culminating in a Doctor of Ministry degree awarded by the San Francisco Theological Seminary in 2001. In June, 2006 I accepted the call from the Ottawa Chinese United Church and have been the senior minister here ever since.
